Can i buy a guild hall if i have no cape? - Guild Wars Forums

I don't know if this has been asked before, i could not find the answer with the search function.

I am leader of a guild that does NOT want a cape .. but we do want a guild hall.

Is this at all possible? I would like to know before i buy a sigil ;-)

No. Your guild needs a cape if you want to get a Guild hall.

Part of the speech the guild ambassador gives refers to the cape as a "badge" of your right to have a guild hall, so I'd say you must have a cape. Maybe that will change someday, but as of Today (I just got my hall) you still need a cape.
